Today was all about ssh. I was asked to help with setting up a linux box in work that could be shared amongst the team, both within the office and from home which we can use to support the Wireless lan trial that we are launching in the next day or two. Gave me a few headaches, but I got it working in the end.

Other than that I started some serious Cisco training, got myself a new book which I’m gonna get tucked into over the next few weeks. Not really looking forward to it, but when I get a good grounding I will then be able to go on a CCNA course which I really want.

Spotted loads French people in Temple Bar tonight when I went into town to do a bit of shopping. So far I’ve got one ticket for the match on Saturday, which is going to prove a bit problematic, as I haven’t been able to get one for Dad yet, and he’s finding it kinda difficult too. Makes a change from having two spare tickets in my pocket a few weeks ago when I was walking into Murrayfield, leaving me EUR 140 worse off.

Anyways, I’m away to have a cuppa and go to bed. Getting up at 2am for the first Formula One qualification of the season – woohoo, it’s back, the withdrawl symptoms are over! :)
