What a weekend!! First off, the weather was absolutely fantastic, so untypical for a Paddy’s weekend in Ireland.

I started out on Friday at my best pal’s 21st in Drogheda. Had a great night there, got home about 3:30 and was up again at 6:30 to go to work. Driving in to work on Saturday morning was an absolute pleasure, there was no traffic on the road, the sun was shining and the music was good. I made it in in about 35 minutes, which is kind of scary given that it took me just over 2 hours to drive in one of the mornings mid-week!!!

Headed out to Swords with the regular gang on Saturday night, was in a place I’d never been before, and I have to say we had one of the best night’s out that I’ve had in quite a long time. Woke up Sunday morning to yet more sunshine, so we decided to head out sailing. It was kinda cold, but the sunshine more than made up for that, it was so beautiful out.

Took it easy at home yesterday, and sat in front of a computer for the first time since Saturday, which must be somethign of a record for me!! Didn’t have much to do, so I downloaded a load of new music to my iPod and played with a new switch which I have. Going to use that to develop the network at home more in the coming weeks. I am seriously considering setting up a Wireless Lan at home over the coming weeks too, I was going to hold out until I got a DSL connection, but we’ll see what happens!
