Stone Age Monaco
29 04 2003Ah I just don’t understand this. As I’ve said here already, I’ve been trying to buy tickets for the Monaco Grand Prix the past few days. I’ve decided to buy them direct from the Automobile Club de Monaco, because A) It was going direct to source, and B) It’s cheaper than buying them from any authorised reseller.
However, acm.mc do not have any online buying facility, which I found hard enough to get my head around to start with, so I decided to email them and ask them if I could send them my details by email, which they said I would be unable to do as they needed an image of my credit card in order to clear security details. So, I proceeded to fax them the application form and a copy of my credit card. However, I promptly received an email back stating that I would have to snail mail my application to them for my own security. Now, this just does not make sense to me, and pissed me off royally, given there’s already very limited availability for the race, and this is going to slow things down by at least a week given I initially applied for the tickets last Friday, and the application is only being posted today!
