I was talking about the Hibernian Ignition Scheme last night, which looks like an interesting way of getting the car insurance down a bit. Basically you spend a day doing an advanced driving course with them, and on successful completion of the course you can qualify for anything between a 10 and 40% reduction in your annual premium, which could end up saving me several hundred Euros per year, I’m certantly going to consider it, especially given my insurance is up for renewal in a few weeks
