Hello Birds
1 11 2003I’ve decided to take the plunge and try migrating from Mozilla 1.5 on my work (Win2k) machine, over to Mozilla FireBird and Thunderbird and so far so good. I’ve played with both on and off over the past while, but this is the first time I’ve migrated any of them into a fully working environment, so fingers crossed all will go well! 
Well, I’ve very quickly decided to back-track on my decision to migrate to Thunderbird, there’s some serious memory leaks going on there! I came into work this-morning, having left 10 hours previous, to find that Thunderbird alone was hogging ~120 megs of virtual memory, and it hadn’t even received a large volume of mail or any large attachments!
