DjMagra’s stuff ‘n’ stuff

Well, I’m back in the land of the living again with an internet connection! I spent all last week doing my ICND course, which meant that I was without internet connection for most of the week, apart from dialup back home, which resulted in me just being ablke to try an keep up with work, without the luxry of being able to blog, keep up with the news etc as I usually do.

The course was great, learned loads, plan on learning even more over the coming weeks. Thinking about sitting my CCNA exam on January 5th if possible, I have an interview on the 6th that I would like to have passed the CCNA for, so a Christmas of study is in store methinks.

The usual Christmas wind-down has started. I’ve most presents bought, taking a half day tomorrow (finished for nearly a week!) to get the last few bits done. Half thinking of heading into Dublin early on Christmas Eve morning to soak up the atmosphere, catch the Full Irish crew in BT’s window and stuff and stuff!

Been to two good gigs this week, went to see Damien Rice in Vicar Street last Monday…wow, what a gig, the man rocks! Went to see JT in the point last night, gig was alright, the man can move, but he doesn’t have enough of a repertoire to carry off a show like that, and should have relied on a few covers etc, which he avoided.

Speaking of music and artists…Stephanie and Gillian recorded their demo yesterday, which I should have in a few days with a bit of luck…and then it won’t be long till they’re at number one with it!
