Where’s the snow?

27 01 2004

C’mon, I’m bored already, all we’ve had is talk about how cold and wintry it’s gonna be, yet it’s not happened yet! It’s not been all that cold, or snowy yet, but fingers crossed!

    You know them days….

    22 01 2004

Yup, it’s just one of those days alright….need to crawl back into bed, and wake up tomorrow and hope that everything’s fixed itself back to the way it should be!

    Wow…what a speed!!

    21 01 2004

Ah, now this is taking the piss altogether, this guy was apparently clocked doing 406 MPH in a 60MPH zone in a Peugeot 406…and they’re still looking to charge him!! Ah c’mon lads, get a grip will ye!

    Vodafone Ireland-Wide Tariff

    20 01 2004

I see Vodafone are now offering an All Ireland roaming package for an extra fiver a month. This is really good value, especially for those living in the border regions. However, I’m currently not travelling up the north enough to warrant even the extra fiver per month!

    More Free texts

    15 01 2004

Wow, I see Vodafone are now allowing you to send 300 free webtexts a month online, up from their measly 30 a month that they have been offering up to now, this should lead to a major reduction in my phone bill now!

    Freaky Call

    15 01 2004

Whoa, I’ve just had a call on my personal mobile from someone in Genuity in America who was looking to talk to Eircom accounts payable. Apparently he’d done some Googling and stumbled upon my CV where he saw who I work for, and what my mobile number is….freaky or what!

    No more waiting!!

    14 01 2004

Didn’t get around to blogging this yet, been a bit of a crazy day, but I landed myself my new job today, I now become an Implementations Engineer with Eircom.net. I can’t wait to start, it’s all really exciting, and a great oppertunity to learn loads and get stuck in hands on with lots of good hardware.

I don’t know when I’ll be starting yet, should be a month at most, probably about 2 weeks, but I hope to know more by the end of the week.

I’ll miss the Corporate Support lads (even though I’m not going far at all), they’re a great bunch of lads and have taught me so much over the past year.

Anyways, more detail on the job and all that surrounds it will be coming soon, in the mean-time I’m going to enjoy my self-congratulatory drink and catch an early-ish night!

    Damien Rice Tickets

    13 01 2004

Damien Rice is playing 2 gigs on Feb 2nd and 3rd in Vicar Street. If his gig there a few weeks is anything to go by, it’s going to be an amazing night, I’ll be buying my tickets when they go on sale at mid-day.
