DjMagra’s stuff ‘n’ stuff

I bought my new camera yesterday from technikdirekt.de, however, today, whilst flicking through their site, I realised that the 20D with 17-85 kit was more expensive than buying the 20D body and 17-85 lens seperately.

So, I decided to call TechnikDirekt and see what was going on. The girl I spoke to was most helpful and said that there was obviously some problem (given that Canon list the kit less than buying seperately, I’d say so!) and that she would look into it. So, she went away to check things out, and came back to me a few minutes later saying that she would re-order things for me with a saving of EUR 172!! Yeah, I’m shocked this slipped through the net, but I’m delighted I spotted it in time!

UPDATE

WOW, I’ve just received the new order confirmation form from them, and it turns out, I have made a saving of EUR 250 on the original price!
