DjMagra’s stuff ‘n’ stuff

I have just been speaking to my old College pal Mike, who informed me that today is the first day of freedom for all the Computer Networking Degree students whom I studied with many moons ago in IT Carlow. It is somewhat shocking to realise that they are all only finishing up now, I managed to last the course for about 6 months, leaving for a variety of reasons (wanting to network being one of the main ones!!).

Am I glad I left….hell yeah! It would be nice to have the piece of paper and the letters after my name, but, I feel that I have gained a lot more knowledge, and certianly a whole lot more experience through working for the past four years. I sure as hell would not like to be heading out into the big bad world now as a graduate with little or no experience in the workforce, alas, it has to be said, Tech Support beckons for many of my classmates with their Degrees in Computer Networking!!!
