And I’m camera-less!
3 11 2005Since I bought my new lens, I have had a sneaking suspicion that my camera has a slight focus problem confirmed. However, the problem also appears to be getting progressively worse, so, I finally decided that it was time to do without the camera for about 2 weeks, and ship it back to Canon for repairs. So, for now, I’m without a proper camera, which leaves me with a kinda empty feeling.
But, on the other hand, the weather is muck right now, and I’m on call for the next week, so, that will ease the pain slightly. Also, there is a slight possibility that I may have it back by next weekend…here’s hoping!!

Is that Canon US or Ireland Daragh, if Ireland, I didn’t realise that they would honour US warrenty’s. Nice kit you got by the way, I’m sick with jealously.

This was despite the fact that this will most likely be the last full weekend we have the two puppies, Tom and Anne are due to collect theirs next weekend. [...]
[...] So yeh, more than two weeks later I still have no camera!! [...]
[...] I’ve written and complained on a few occasions about the fact that my camera, a Canon EOS 20D, has had focusing problems. This was initially apparent with the Canon EF-S 17 - 85mm lens that I bought with the camera, but, became a whole lot more apparent when I purchased a Canon EF 70 - 200 f2.8 L late last year. The camera was clearly ‘front focusing’ by quite a large amount, and so, the camera was sent off to Canon for repairs. [...]
