Awards, and awards!
8 03 2006This weekend, sees the inagural Irish Blog Awards taking place in the Alexander Hotel in Dublin. The awards have been generating huge interest, with plenty of media interest, along with blogger interest, with Irish Blogger and broadcaster Rick O’ Shea appearing on the Dave Fanning Show to speak about the awards (and hopefully drop a mention of the Metblog in there, as well as hosting the actual Awards Ceremony.
It would appear that the Irish have been ahead of our friends over the water for once, with the first British Blog Awards not due to take place until April 3rd. Nice to see we’re ahead of the game for once.
