Yes, yes and yes!

We are up on Irish Blogs, Planet of the Blogs etc, and do get quite a lot of referrals from them. I’ve been asked similar questions by other bloggers, and will be working on promoting the blog a bit more over the weekend, I haven’t had time to do much for the past few weeks, but, with a four day weekend ahead, should be able to arrange something!

As for stats, yes, we do have (more than one) stats package there at the moment, and the figures are growing nicely. I’m going to start mailing out stats to the authors group over the next few days, so, keep an eye on your inbox over the weekend!

It’s still early days, but, over time, we’ll get bigger and better (hopefully). Do spread the word, and if you see an opportunity for promoting it, fire ahead…just let me know so I can keep an eye on stats and see if it works!

I was actually going to email you and ask you something about the Dublin Community Blog before I saw your post! Great minds and all that.

Anyway, I’m really enjoying the blog and posting on it, but I was wondering about promotion? Are we signed up to Blog Explosion or Irish Blogs or any of those? It’s just I’m noticing that most of the comments about the posts are from ourselves (the contributors) if you get me! Not many from outside, so I’m just wondering what the story is. The blog is only up a couple of weeks though, so I’m probably jumping the gun a bit. I just think the blog is so great and you’ve some fantastic writers, that it really should be out there, with millions of comments every day. Also is there a stat counter or hit counter to see how many hits we’re geting each day? I’d love to know how many are reading.

You know though, I’m not familiar with Word Press so maybe you’ve already done all of that and I just can’t see it cos I’m an eejit!
