Hey Darren,

Yep, these, and more, many much worse than this exist and are readily available on the internet if you choose to look. I don't expect the main-stream media to show images this graphic, though, I hazard that if they did, we would not find ourselves reaching such devastating conflict, and certainly not procrastinating to the levels that the US (and British) governments are, there would be massive uproar amongst the general public.

I do believe however, that mass-broadcast news media has become more explicit during this conflict, my father puts it down to the fact that so many people disagree with what Israel are doing, and the highly competitive news industry. I put it down to the power of bloggers and citizen journalism which has come into its own over the past few years, most noticably post 7/7.

Yes, these images are reproduced. I would give anything to be a photo-journalist on assignment in somewhere like Lebanon right now, but alas it's not to be. These images are not copywright acknowledged, as I have been unable to source the origin of them, if anyone knows who the photographer is, please let me know so I can give the relevant hat-tip.

I´ve been following this story entirely throught the western media; TV & papers. I knew these sort of images existed but nothing really prepares you for it.

I´m not a parent but the little children remind me of my friends' children.

Pardon my asking but; I asssume these are reproduced (from Reuters or something). I mean you´re not a photo journalist out there in the field, are you?

This is fucking shocking, I had to link it. This is nothing short of war crimes. When will the United Nations actually do something to move a permanent ceasefire along.

[...] When I saw the news tonight I was shocked that the was no permenant ceasefire in the Middle East, instead it was a 48 hours ceasefire because of the outrageous attacks the most recent one which killed 37 killed children. When I took a look daragh’s blog I was shocked. Please take a look at the post he created and tell people these aren’t war crimes! War crimes ??? [...]
