Rejection

So, it would appear that getting into Stock Photography is a little harder than I had thought at first. Shutterstock have decided to reject the below images due to “Limited commercial value due to framing, cropping and/or composition.”

If they rejected yours than other people like me would never have a chance :-)

I could have seen a market for 2 and 3 and definitely 4. Did they accept any?

Yeah, it’s a bit of a bummer, but, I’ve actually realised that I approached the whole stock thing wrong, and didn’t put enough thought into it. Kinda glad I was rejected now, as it’s made me think a little more about what is and isn’t required for stock photography. The only bummer on it all now is the fact that I’ve to wait 30 days before I can re-submit to Shutterstock. My iStock application is still pending though, so, hopefully that will make it through.
