I’ve just read that Google’s founders, Sergey Brin and Larry Page have managed to score themselves just about the ultimate parking place for their three planes, two Gulfstream V’s (pretty standard private / corporate jet) and a massive Boeing 767. They’ve managed to secure a deal with NASA, that allows them to land their jets in a facility right in the heart of Silicon Valley, just 7 minutes drive from their office.

This is apparently causing a stir as the airport is closed to private / commercial flights, and is used solely for NASA flights, and all the other private jet owners in the valley are scrambling to try and get landing rights there. More details are in this NY Times article. Oh, how tough some people have it!
