If I see Eddie O’ Sullivan on Friday…
18 09 2007…Whilst I’m in Paris, and if I get near him, there’s going to be a slap issued. Not for Ireland’s performance thus far in the world cup, but, for this comment:
‘It’s a big week that’s for sure, although I’m not sure it’s my biggest week,’ said O’Sullivan.
You can read the rest of the interview here
HOW can this not be O’ Sullivan’s biggest week in his career?! The best prepared Irish team ever to enter a world cup are on the verge of being knocked out of that competition in the pool stages. I know if I were in that position, I’d be sweating it, thinking that my entire career is going to hinge on this moment. Obviously though, bringing this team to a quarter / semi final like they should be is not all too high in Eddie’s priorities however, he’s got bigger fish to fry by the sounds of it!

there there.
Shush you!!
Sure have a read of Brian O’Driscoll Diary. I hope the holiday is going well for them and the weather is good, wouldn’t want them coming home with out a tan
“Outside of the training paddock it’s been a question of trying to relax and for some that means breaking out the baby oil. Mike McGurn, Graham Steadman and Peter Stringer have been soaking up the rays while Donncha O’Callaghan is the same colour as the teak furniture.”
Well, in fairness, I wouldn’t expect a rugby team to go on a tour like that and not kick back and relax as well. Spending as much time as they do holed up in a hotel must be an absolute nightmare.
Yeah but I think it would be best to refrain from put comment like that on the IRFU webpage in light of the bad performance so far.
Well, yeah, ok, not going to argue with that point!
woohoo I win! Yes!
